The Story Behind Children Sayings

The inspiration for this project started with a box of notes. My mother spent years scribbling down the funny things my siblings and I said while we were growing up. When we reached adulthood and she became ill, she compiled those precious scraps into a book and gifted it to us.

It was a powerful reminder of how quickly childhood passes and how easily those small, hilarious moments can be forgotten.

As a frontend developer with kids of my own, I wanted a way to carry on this tradition for my family. I built a small web app just for us, but as soon as family and friends saw it, they wanted to capture their own special moments too. That's when I decided to open it up for every family.
